GearGuide Entry: Operation Cheap Army Boots

Comfortable and Cheap Army Boots

Combat boots were designed for men during the war but now women started a brand new trend out of wearing boots instead of their heels. It seems women can be stylish and sexy without their high heels after all, plus it's much more comfortable than most dressy shoes.

Cheap army boots can be dressed up or down. They look great with any type of jean material. For instance, you can take a sundress and throw on a blue jean jacket, then add a pair of comfy boots for today's daytime casual look. If you like the new skinny jeans, tuck them in a pair of boots and show them off. Leather and jean material can look really great with a pair of military boots.

If you like to go out in style for a night on the town, adding a pair of combat boots to your attire can be sexy and stylish. What about a puffy ballerina type dress, a pair of tights and a zippered pair of cheap combat boots to set a trend for an evening out? If you buy the ones with a stacked heel, it looks dressier than the flat daytime look with jeans.

If you want to look really chic buy a pair with the ties up the front. You won't have to lace and unlace each time you wear them because you want to buy the kind that have the zipper on the side. They're very easy to slip on and off and you can get dressed quickly when running out the door for something and yet look really trendy. Places where this type of boot is great to wear are:
  • Airports when going through security clearance
  • Grocery Stores
  • Movie Theatres
  • Picking up the kids from school
  • Outside sporting events

Cheap army boots are not only cool to wear but they are comfortable and very sturdy. To get a good fit you want to pull on the laces closest to your toes first to tighten evenly. As you tighten each lace you want to create more slack the higher up your boot. Make sure your knots are double or even triple laced so they don't fall on the ground and make you trip. There are so many varieties on the market today.
