4 of 5 Finally wore 'em out February 6, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from TX United States
Luckily I did some research and ordered a half size larger than I normally wear. These were my first choice for a non-Gortex boot which would not be too warm in hot climates.  I only have two minor negative comments about the boot. The laces didn't slide easily through the eyelets and wore out easily. My second complaint is that I think they are the ugliest boot around.  Having said that, I bought a second pair. The soles finally wore out on the first pair and split across the ball of my foot.  These boots were primarily worn in rugged rocky terrain with a lot of thorny vegetation. Ankle support was adequate during extended humps, CQB, helo ops and standing around on the flat range.  The only care I gave the boots was from the business end of a water hose.  When I first examined them, I expected the sole to separate from the boot but it never did. Several of my buddies have them and everyone loves these boots because they are so comfortable and durable.

One size fits all? Where are the various widths?
Seems like a decent tactical shoe but without widths, it is useless. Sorry....
