The Original SWAT Metro Air 9" Side Zip is a tried and true classic. Original SWAT integrates "air" technology into the sole to enhance comfort while standing on your feet during extended periods. The boots standout when utilized on hard surfaces as the outsole design, manufacturing process and the components used in the insole, midsole and outsole are for hard surface wear.

The proprietary rubber compound used in this Original SWAT outsole will not mark and features a reliable and proven traction tread and a special traction detail to grip ladders safely and securely.

Original SWAT reinforces the boots with outer stitching at the heel and toe, two key areas that receive heavy levels of abrasion, to add wear life.

Original SWAT utilizes a custom molded EVA midsole to reinforce the boot between the insole and the outsole. The EVA midsole provides additional cushion, support and flexibility in combination with the durable rubber outsole.

The 1000 Denier Nylon is lightweight, water repellent, and tough while the leather is durable, great looking and polishable. The full grain leather and nylon denier combination is the best upper choice for performance oriented tactical boots.

Original SWAT utilizes a 3- ply bonded nylon thread to assemble the boot uppers. This thread will endure harsh weather, chemicals and other destructive elements to keep your boots together and functioning effectively. The boots fit great. They are comfortable right out of the box and contour nicely to shape of the wearer’s foot and calf. Original SWAT designs the collar and tongue for support, protection, moisture wicking comfort and structure. The nicely designed boot tongue gusset will keep the elements out. Original SWAT incorporates a premium quality YKK Side Zipper to encourage quick-on, quick-off performance and the side zip design ensures a snug and secure fit that stays zipped with a supplemental velcro closure.
