MultiCam® was developed by studying how camouflage works in nature and the designers took the approach that “good camouflage where you are is better than perfect camouflage somewhere else.” The developers of MultiCam® studied a wide range of common combat terrains and how light affects the elements. Seasonal changes and elevation were also considered and the designers went all out to make an adaptive and effective pattern that is widely effective in many terrains, weather, and lighting conditions. MultiCam® stays true to its name, providing good camouflage in multiple situations, instead of great camouflage in a specific situation.
