Clothes Make the Marine The marine is a person who is proud to wear marine clothes that indicate to everyone around them that they are proud of who and what they are. A marine starts from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet and everything in between to make them stand out from everyone else. The cap or cover is worn in combat, to keep the sun or rain off or during times of celebration. Many or the caps or covers blend in with the surroundings, others are more brightly colored of red, green or white and some have a secure string under the chin to keep the cap or cover securely fastened on the head. The short sleeved shirts can be worn by themselves or with a jacket. They are comfortable to wear and come in white, black or gray with a variety of designs on them. They are easy to wash and wear with no harm to the design. The short sleeved shirt is not just for the marine but can also be for mothers, daughters, sons or anyone else who would like to wear this item to represent the marine. There are four different types of marine pants that are worn for different reasons. The first marine pants are the utility or combat part of a marine uniform. The next marine pants are the blue dress pants that are worn to special occasions, there is also the service pants that are worn by special people in the marines and the last pair of marine pants are worn at night time and are called evening dress pants. The boots are of neutral colors, can be laced up good and tight, are comfortable to walk in and are very durable in all types of terrain and weather. There are also dress shoes that come in gray or black that are worn for the special inside occasions. The gloves worn by a marine during combat are thick and protect the hands not only in combat but also for weather conditions and walking conditions. The white gloves are worn with the dress blues when going to special occasions. The clothes that a marine wears while on duty and off duty have to be clean, pressed in order to show everyone that from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet and everything in between is important.
