The Schott Classic Melton Wool Pea Coat is made with 32 ounces of wool. Wool is naturally water repellent, so it will shed off light rain and maintain its insulating properties even when wet. Reprocessed wool is less expensive than virgin wool and is the same material used by the military. Combining this with nylon makes a dense fabric that keeps out cold air. You can keep out the elements even better by turning up the oversized collar and lapels to protect your face and neck. The warmth of this jacket is amplified by the polyester fiberfill insulation and two vertical hand-warmer pockets. To make this jacket even more comfortable, a nylon quilted lining keeps the wool from brushing against sensitive skin.
