Standout Features   Designed specifically for all standard commercial carbine barrels, this tactical handguard system offers the shooter a stable platform for mounting lights, lasers, and vertical foregrips. Manufactured by Midwest Industries from aircraft grade aluminum, the rails are cut to M1913 specifications to ensure compatibility with all tactical accessories. Handguards are no longer limited to simply offering a place to support the weapon in the non-firing hand. With the advent of railed handguards, the operator is able to tailor his weapon to the tactical environment. By installing this system, the shooter is now able to mount white lights, lasers, vertical grips, and other accessories to better fit his weapon to any mission. Each rail is numbered to ensure that optical accessories are returned to the same location they were removed from to ensure proper zero. Installation is easily accomplished by removing the standard handguard and installing the two-piece railed set. The upper rail is level with the flat top upper receiver to ensure proper alignment for forward mounted accessories.
