Sidewinder features tactile battery polarity indicators and a battery compartment cap that's tethered to the light to prevent loss. The 185 degree articulating head allows you to aim the light in any direction. You can also stand it up or lay it down, and aim the light directly at your work area. A strong steel clip quickly fastens and unfastens the Sidewinder to a helmet (with separate integral helmet mount), belt or MOLLE equipment. When attached to the helmet mount, it can rotate 360 degrees. A Tough, Durable Powerhouse The high-impact Nylon case, available in 2 colors - Coyote and Green, is extremely durable. The polycarbonate lens is unbreakable, scratch-resistant, and waterproof. Sidewinder meets MIL-STD-810F, Method 512.4 guidelines for waterproof operation. It runs on two "AA" batteries - either standard alkaline or lithium. With lithium batteries, Sidewinder performs in extreme environments, from -40 degrees F to 150 degrees F. Long-Lasting Dependability The Sidewinder runs for over 100 hours at low intensity with any LED color. At full-power, it delivers runtimes between 7 and 12 hours, depending on LED selection> The incredible versatility, durability, and compact design of the Sidewinder make other lights seem obsolete.
