We rate the Converse Patriot an excellent choice for Tactical applications in urban environments as well. The boot is lightweight and will withstand the hard use Tactical Teams will put these boots through. The boots are not waterproof but you can add a water repellant treatment to the leather and fabric and in cold weather utilize some good wool or wool blend socks. Door kicking, cement abrasion, support and comfort while wearing a full Tactical Entry Kit, This abuse will not break the Converse Patriots down quickly.
