They are great. I love the zipper on the side. You never have to tie them but once! Not so great in water, but you're going to get them wet on the inside regardless. They dry out relatively fast too. Super easy to break in, unlike most boots. The only real downside is they are not allowed in the Army they're out of spec, but for training or hiking or running I would fully recommend them!

The above Converse boots were evaluated for 2 months in several different applications. 1) Tactical Operations: boot was comfortable, light, and rugged 2) P.T.: can be compared to a running shoe 3) Obstacle Course: held up during this (except for fast roping) 4) Daily Use: excellent for everyday use
Qualities: 1) Price a) Price b) light and rugged c) Strong material and construction lasted longer than Oakley. A lot lighter than Danner
Overall Thought: I was impressed with the Converse boots. They are light and comfortable, compared to Danner and stronger than Oakley. Good Product.
