Any damage would result from handling in transit. AFMO stands behind this merchandise and will replace any damaged footlockers at no additional expense. Occasionally, the boys on the freight docks are a little rough with the merchandise (no rougher than your kids). The following is a list of imperfections that may occur in transit: Flattened brass corners Bent padlock loop Slightly mis-aligned lid hinges The freight carriers will not consider these as "damaged". With minor adjustments, these footlockers are fully functional. Only footlockers with STRUCTURAL DAMAGE are considered "damaged". STRUCTURAL DAMAGE includes any punctured wood sides or top, anything ripped or torn. Footlocker season is now upon us. Please allow up to 20 days for shipment of your footlocker order. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping cost for Footlockers is calculated using a method that accounts for "oversized packages." A large package surcharge is applied by the freight carrier and our displayed shipping weight and cost compensate for this surcharge.
