Eagle's History:

Eagle Industries is the world leader in manufacturing tactical nylon products for the military and law enforcement communities. While Eagle has drastically evolved over the years, one thing that has not changed is the dedication to producing the highest quality tactical nylon goods available. Through more than 30 years of production, Eagle has grown dramatically in size, adding more than 5,000 items to the product line, while maintaining the guiding principle of "Quality By Design."

Production began in 1974 with John Carver and his mother, Lorene Pyles. The original company, Scott-John, had a product line intended for motorcycle racing; including fanny packs, bags, motocross pants, and various packs. Noticing a lack of quality tactical gear available to the military and law enforcement, Scott-John incorporated into Eagle Industries in 1982 and redirected its product line. A couple of the original groundbreaking products were the A-III-P (3-day assault pack) and SAS-MKIII (drop leg holster.) Though both have undergone major upgrades, they still remain major staples of a line that includes harnesses, tactical vests, holsters, bags, packs, and duty gear. As Eagle's reputation and the demand for quality tactical gear increased, so did the need for expansion. In 1989, Eagle moved to a larger space in Fenton, MO. Always looking for ways to improve, Eagle added CAD (Computer Aided Design) in 1992 and created an in-house manufacturing database to track proficiency and monitor product movement in 1996. A year later, Eagle purchased its first computerized fabric cutting machine. Since then, Eagle has aggressively continued to use technology to improve operations and progress as a company. By 2004, Eagle Industries was operating out of a number of buildings and once again moved.

Through quality and customer loyalty, Eagle has emerged and remained the world leader in tactical nylon gear, and as we charge into the coming years, new technology will provide us with easier and more efficient design and production processes. Combining this new technology with our relentless pursuit of quality will ensure our customers receive the absolute best gear on the market. Our knowledge of the past, and grasp of the present, will allow us to keep our eye on the future, while keeping in line with the original principle, "To continually offer great products at a fair price, to the men and women who truly need them."

LE Division:

In 2005, Eagle officially launched its LE product line. This new line was created to better focus development and design resources on understanding and responding to the needs of the law enforcement community. Eagle's knowledge and skill at producing high quality nylon military products is able to now be invested into creating mission essential equipment for law enforcement officers.

The LE product line is assembled at an Eagle Industries owned facility in the Dominican Republic, using U.S. produced materials. By establishing an assembly operation in the Dominican Republic, Eagle is certain to remain competitive in the law enforcement, homeland security, private label and international markets. Owning and operating the facility allows Eagle to maintain control over the quality of products and production schedule to best serve the needs of our law enforcement customers, continuing with the guiding principal of "Quality By Design."

While primarily manufactured at the Dominican Republic plant, all LE products are also available from the United States plant.
