Armor Integration
CamelBak is using a variety of new clips that allow the user to attach various packs directly to their body armor vest without interfering with the rapid release mechanism of the vest.

500D
500D Cordura has a tighter weave and is 35% lighter (per sq. meter) with the same weight-to-strength ratio as 1000D. It exceeds MIL-C-43734D for breaking strength, tear resistance, dimensional stability, Infrared Reflectance (dependent on pattern), and water resistance. The current IOTV, MTV, and OTV vests are made from 5000.

Omega Reservoir
CamelBak leveraged years of extensive Chem Bio Reservoir 4.0 research to develop the Water Beast Reservoir. Standard on all CamelBak military and industrial hydration systems, our rugged polyurethane reservoir is durable enough to handle almost anything you throw at it.

Low Infrared Reflective Materials
Many of our packs and systems come with low infrared reflective webbing, fabric and buckle technology. These materials are specifically designed to provide optimal infrared reflectivity in the near-IR light range (.7 to 1.3 microns). CamelBak's unique fabric and hardware solution provides warfighters with the best chance for evading detection on the high-tech battlefields of today.

Chem Bio Reservoir 4.0
Our Chem Bio Reservoir 4.0 (CBR 4.0), resists penetration by potentially lethal chemical and biological agents. Lightweight and low cost, the CBR 4.0 was designed to be your everyday reservoir and to be part of your chemical protective gear as your water's safeguard against NBC threats.

CamelBak Gloves
CamelBak Maximum Gear gloves are constructed to offer maximum hand and finger dexterity without sacrificing protection. Pre-curved ergonomic fit with advancements such as exclusive Flex-Cut seamless index finger design, ensure our gloves provide users with peak performance whatever and wherever their task may be.

Printed Webbing
CamelBak is the first manufacturer to use printed webbing on its packs. The printed webbing provides the disruptive pattern of camouflage fac=bric both visually and through night vision, while maintaining the full functionality, durability and reliability of standard solution-dyed, textured webbing. Our printed webbing meets Military standards for NIR, breaking strength, and color fastness.

Infrared Reflectance
CamelBak uses a variety of materials that meet the Military standards for Near Infrared Reflectance. Those materials consist of:

5000 Cordura - AUC, Digital Desert, Coyote, Foliage and ABU

1000D Cordura - AUC, Coyote, and Foliage

Webbing - AUC and Digital Desert printed, Foliage, and Coyote

Findings - zipper pulls, side release buckles, D-Rings, and Sternum strap adjustments.
