MS3R integrated weapon-mount LED light is a 9-volt system, capable of achieving greater distance and brightness than the MS2 6-volt LED system. MS3R LED Light utilizes a geniune 5-watt high flux Luxeon LED as the primary white light source. The sophisticated onboard electronic circuitry regulates the current delivered to the LED to ensure maximal brightness while sustaining the duration of peak brightness. Luxeon LED is power efficient and does not need frequent lamp replacement since it will not burn out like the filament of incandescent bulbs. With this efficiency and our gold plated mechanism for optimal heat management and electrical conductance, MS3R has a runtime of at least 2 hours at peak brightness and at least 6 hours of usable light output with diminishing output. With 75 lumens of eye-blinding maximal focused white light from a supersized 1.5" diameter reflector, MS3R is a great light for long search and rescue missions and other extended operations. The onboard electronics are damped by the internal spring-loaded back-plate deflection mechanism as the LED module is completely isolated from the rest of the light while the batteries are compartmentalized to provide MD3R with excellent performance against weapon recoil. All connections are sealed with double O-rings for fail-safe protection against water leakage. Manufactured by high precision CNC machine from aerospace grade aluminum with anti-abrasive, anti-corrosive, and anti-reflective military spec Type III hard anodized exterior finish, MS3R LED Light is rugged and durable for illumination in the most critical environments. The anti-reflective finish reduces glare and minimizes signature in ensuring stealth. The integrated ARMS #17S compact throw lever mount reduces MS3R form factor. The mount easily engages and disengages the light from the Picantinney rail, ensuring quick, direct, and firm attachment in rear position. Rear integrated mount is most suitable for attaching to rifles such as M4/AR15, where it frees up more space around the foreend grip. A standard 1" diameter diamond knurl section of the body in the front is suitable for securing additional weapon accessories, such as a laser sight with a conventional clip mount. MS3R is preconfigured with TR3 straight-cord tri-mode remote pressure pad switch. Positioned in momentary mode, the light can be activated by pressing the remote pressure pad. Turn tail-cap slightly to position in constant-on mode. Constant-on switches light on continuously without pressing, and is also useful in the event of remote pressure pad or cord failure. The pentagonal shape tail-cap facilitates rotation for operating the switch mechanism, including positioning the switch in lockout mode. This tail-cap is compact and light-weight, allowing the system to have better form factor. Additional tail-caps are available for alternate methods of operation. MS3R LED Light features PentagonLight™ Interchangeable Light Source System, making it easily for switching to optional heads for alternative light sources in meeting your mission-specific needs. Each MS3R is individually serialized for inventory control. The unit can be easily serviced in the field with an optional field service kit, including the option of replacing the front tempered glass lens if it is damaged during an unexpected frontal impact.
