Standout Features Manufacturer Capabilities   L2 Luxeon LED Light is a military-grade LED light for tactical operations. L2 utilizes a geniune 3-watt high flux Luxeon LED as the light source. It is regulated by electronic circuitry and engineered to be the high-tech flashlights of the 21st century. The sophisticated onboard electronics regulates the current delivered to the LED to ensure maximal brightness while sustaining the duration of peak brightness. Luxeon LED is power efficient and does not need frequent lamp replacement since it will not burn out like the filament of incandescent bulbs. With this efficiency and our gold plated mechanism for optimal heat management and electrical conductance, L2 has a runtime of at least 90 minutes at peak brightness and at least 3 hours of usable light output with diminishing output. Powered by two pieces of 10-year shelf-life CR-123A lithium batteries and a shockproof light source, L2 is also an ideal flashlight as part of emergency preparation kit. Our proprietary textured reflector is designed for focusing the light generated into a smooth intensified light beam. L2 is preconfigured with TC4 push on/off PentagonLight™ signature tail-cap switch. The extended long throw of our tail button switch can easily press slightly for momentary on while allowing click to constant on. The anti-roll pentagonal shape tail-cap makes it easy for one-hand operation. Crafted out of aerospace grade aluminum tube using precision CNC machine, L2 is rugged and tough for the toughest environments. The exterior of L2 is in our anti-reflective, anti-corrosive, and anti-abrasive Military Spec Type III hard anodized exterior finish with PentagonLight dual tone design. All connections are sealed with double O-rings for fail-safe protection against water leakage. L2 is not just a limited use LED light, since its head is interchangeable for alternate light sources from a diverse selection of conversion heads available separately, so your initial investment for a high quality flashlight is maximized. The 1" diamond knurl area of the body is suitable for securing gun-mounts. Optional tail-caps are available for additional switching functions, including remote pressure pad switch tail-caps, momentary tactical switch tail-cap, and swivel belt-clip tail-cap. Pentagon L2 used in Tactical Light School May 7, 2007 Reviewer: Jack K. Mitchell from Lubbock, TX United States   The above PentagonLight was evaluated for 2 months in several different applications. 1) Low Light Tactical: Strong and rugged construction.  White light was powerful and blinding.  The flashlight worked proficiently everytime used. 2) Weapon Mounted: The rugged construction held up even under several hundreds rounds mounted on a M-4 (unlike several Surefires that I have purchased). Comparison to Surefire and Galdius: 1) Qualities:     a) price     b) white light over yellow     c) same brightness as Gladius     d) strong material and construction 2) Improvements:     a) pressure switch Overall Thought: I was impressed with the Pentagon L2 over the Surefire, and compare equally to the Gladius (except strobbing effect).  I have reccommended this product to my student.
