The SAR will be your boot of choice due to its superior ankle support, fit, and drainage features. FEATURES & BENEFITS Tactical Rubber Technology for superior silent traction on both wet and dry surfaces. All OTB sole units are lugged and razor siped to help facilitate water dispersion. Perforated OTB sole unit, allows for instant water drainage. Recessed arch on the outsole helps identify center of gravity when climbing ladder rungs. Ballistic mesh placed between the outsole and upper prevents small stones and debris from entering the boot, yet still allows for water to drain freely. Rubber reinforced toe and heel help aid in climbing maneuvers. High abrasion TPU upper material resists scuffs for outlasting conventional leather. The material is treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) having minimal water absorption characteristics. Mesh ports throughout the boot allows for water drainage and breathability resulting in quick dry comfort for increased foot health. Patented off-set molded ankle support does not interfere with the ankle bones, yet provides unmatched lightweight ankle support especially when carrying heavy loads. Reticulated foam used for all upper padding will not absorb water under any circumstances. Mesh tongue pocket holds tied laces in place preventing snags on out-croppings. Sea/Air/Land-SEAL footbed aids in water drainage as well as breathability for unsurpassed foot health in a wide variety of conditions. The SEAL footbed has a patented removable shank that allows the user to customize the fit for any conditions wet or dry. OTB Boots - Sizing/Fit Information Performance Boat Shoe Fitting Instructions: OTB performance boat shoes fit true to size. Our shoes are made on a fuller last, meaning they are slightly wide, however, we do include special spacers in each box to help you get the perfect fit should you be on the narrow side. You should order the same size as your normal dress shoes. We do make our performance boat shoes in 1/2 sizes. Should you be ordering the TIDE model, please refer to the fitting instructions for our boots below. Boot Fitting Instructions: OTB Footwear fits on the "fuller" side, similar to, but not quite as wide, however we include a spacer of "filler" in each box. For those of you who are a 1/2 size, below is an example to help you select the proper size. Example: If you are on the smaller side of a 9 1/2 (you sometimes buy a 9 or 9 1/2) we recommend you purchase a size 9. If you are on the larger side of a 9 1/2 (you sometimes buy a 9 1/2 or a 10) we recommend you purchase a size 10. We put a spacer in each box to take up the room inside of the boot if the fit is too large. The flat perforated spacer should be placed below the footbed. This will take up space and help you get the correct fit. Wearing Waders?? One point to note, if you are wearing a pair of waders with a 3mm neoprene sock foot, or a thick sock and waterproof waders (or a dry suit), we recommend you purchase the next size up.
