Outstanding Comfort and Fit Right Out of the Box The OTB 6" Boots provide a firm ride with responsiveness and excellent cushioning. OTB Bushmaster's provide ample support for hiking with moderate pack weight - trail, off trail and hill trekking. The OTB Bushmaster's are extremely light and agile for urban tactical ops, training and the range. OTB Bushmaster's upper features a ventilated nylon mesh, giving the OTB Boots excellent moisture wicking, breathability and quick drying performance. They are superb in waterborne operations and hot weather climates. I have been wearing the OTB Bushmaster's in cool to moderate temperatures, recently 34 degrees F. to 64 degrees F., with decent socks (Thorlo and Polypro Liners), and my feet have always stayed comfortable and dry. OTB Bushmaster uppers feature a proprietary lining/insert which provide a snug but flexible fit in conjunction with the nylon mesh. The flexibility offers unusual comfort and pliability for a tactical boot. I really enjoy my OTB Bushmasters while hiking and trail running. I recommend the OTB Bushmaster for Adventure Racing, as the quick drying comfort and durability will stand out. The OTB Bushmaster's feature a vibram "multi-sport" oil resistant compound outsole with open lugs for navigating over irregular surfaces. I find my OTB Bushmaster's have excellent slip resistance on indoor surfaces - tile, wood, and cement, and as I mentioned, they are rugged, durable and comfortable outdoors. The boot insole offers a comfortable premium touch with a removable OTB cushioned innersole and a Dri-Lex moisture wicking cover. The OTB Dri-Lex Innersole is anti-microbial and washable. These boots will stay fresh after hard use. The nylon shank is durable and light weight. OTB Bushmaster features a rubberized toe and heel for reinforcement where scuffs, tears and high abrasion commonly occur. Great for tactical, range, training and hiking. I want OTB to produce a land tactical boot with a full leather upper and no rubber reinforcement for uniform wear. Hopefully, this will come soon.
