DESCRIPTION

    Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) is a line of firearm accessories designed to provide a high-quality, economical alternative to standard weapon parts. The MOE line distinguishes itself with a simplified feature set, but maintains Magpul engineering and material quality.

    The Magpul MOE Stock Mil-Spec Model is a drop-in replacement butt-stock for AR15/M16 carbines using mil-spec sized receiver extension tubes. Designed for light, fast action the streamlined A-frame profile avoids snagging and shields the release latch to prevent accidental activation. The extra-power lock mechanism uses a premium chrome-silicon spring to avert auto-collapse failure and maintains strength by resisting spring relaxation. The Mil-Spec Model includes a standard 0.30" rubber butt-pad which provides positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage even with body armor or modular gear.

Drop in replacement for AR stock for Mil-Spec receiver extension. The Mil-Spec model is for receiver extensions with outside dimensions of 1.15", if you have a outside dimension of 1.17" then you have a commercial stock and should purchase the commercial version not the Mil-Spec version. Light and very comfortable when sitting on your shoulder. The MOE stock has a nice sloping cheek weld with nice ergonomics, good smooth surface that won't bite. Has a slim rubber butt pad on the plate to assist with absorbing recoil and to add extra comfort and stability that sits comfortably against the shoulder that won't slip and is easily removable.

As with all Magpul products, the MOE stock is a simple but elegant design that is light, comfortable, functional and built to last. Easy to operate release latch is shielded to prevent accidental release.
