Product Specifications

The Zephyr GTX Mids are lined with Gore-Tex for waterproof performance and breath ability. The Gore-Tex lining is convenient year around as it protects your feet from fluids and liquids encountered in urban areas in third world countries as well as snow, ice and rain. The Zephyr GTX Mid footbed and insole is designed with a climate control feature. You will find a comfortable three layer foam insert covered with a moisture wicking fabric. The foam insole will help keep cool air out in winter and wick while providing some protection from the heat in extreme climates.

The Lowa Zephyr Gore- Tex polyurethane midsoles and rubber outsoles are reinforced at key foot areas to offer support where it is needed the most. This strategic sole reinforcement creates flex and a complimentary heel to toe flow for ease of movement.

The Lowa Cross outsole features a 3/4 length nylon shank for foot support and rigidity. You will find the Lowa Zephyr GTX Mids provide great shock absorption, comfort and stability while running although they will probably not last as long as the Uplander, Focus or Desert Elite in the mountains, on rocky, gravel laden terrain and packing loads of 40 LBS or greater.
