The TFX in A-TACS is a great boot as are most Danner similars. This particular order went out to a buddy who frequently joins me in Mexico (I received mine back in late fall). The Mexican army is really sold on A-TACS for SF units in Yucatan and Chiapas States (climate and terrain compatibility), and along with Propper's A-TACS uni's, TAG's and Tactical Tailor's A-TACS gear, Danner's A-TACS entry via the TFX, I've been able to score + points with Yucatecan gov authorities;
