The Danner TFX Rough Out Hot Combat Boots are comfortable quickly out of the box and they are designed to perform in mountainous terrain, desert and urban environments. The boots will provide a secure platform when the wearer is packing medium loads of 50 to 60 LBS. The core feature is the outsole. The Danner TFX outsole emphasizes an all around and aggressively delineated tread pattern that adheres to the landscape as the wearer moves offering stability in a variety of environments. The specially designed outsole lugs improve acceleration and braking while traveling downhill. The outsole lugs are beveled to restrain the accumulation of excess mud and rubble.

The 26014’s are not waterproof so if you anticipate wearing these boots in a rainy or wet environment we suggest applying a water repellant treatment to the Rough- Out leather.
